1. Click on the picture to the left to read the linked article and relate it to the Defense against Disease objectives- these are nicely summarized in the Knowledge Audits found on the General Documents page. The Click for Biology reference note hyperlnks are found under the Physiology subtopic. 2.Write a synopsis of the article, create links to the objective topics. If you are taking Chinese or Arabic as your main IB language, make sure to go over Knowledge Audits for Topic 11- Human Health/ Immune System and the Click notes which are highlighted in purple ( on the right hand side of the page) on the Defense Against ID page. 3. Create IB questions that could be created from these same objectives statements complete with points possible, include answers that would/could earn the points. 4. Explain how you are protected by herd immunity ( be specific complete with disease/pathogen genus species if any) and how you are not protected by herd immunity. 5. Why did I specify if there was a genus and species- how can something NOT have a genus and species name. Turn this in by the last Friday of school. This can be turned in in person or electronically.
